Organizational History and Profile
The Noble Visiting Nurse and Hospice Services, Inc. was founded as a subsidiary of the Noble Health System, in 1986 under the name Westhills Home Health to meet the home health needs of the Greater Westfield Community. At the time, it was the only Agency to provide home health care to residents in the rural and difficult to reach hill towns.

On June 5, 1996, recognizing the special needs of the terminally ill and their families, Westhills Home Health began providing Hospice services. The Agency name was changed to Westhills Home Health and Hospice to reflect this significant and much needed addition of Hospice care.

On October 1, 1998, Westhills Home Health and Hospice once again changed its name to Noble Visiting Nurse and Hospice Services, Inc. The new name reflected our association with the Noble Health System.
