Are your hospice nurses required to be certified in hospice care?
What makes Noble Visiting Nurse and Hospice Services different from other providers is that our nurses are hospice certified.

What kind of support is available to the family/caregiver?
The care team is a tremendous help and comfort to families and patients.  We take pride in our goal of being a support system to the whole family with services from our clinical, spiritual and volunteer team members.

What is the amount of time it will take to have a nurse make the first visit?
We at Noble Visiting Nurse and Hospice Service take pride in our ability to respond with in twenty four hours or less of the patient being discharged or receiving the referral.

Does the patient's primary physician stay involved?
The patient's primary physician can remain involved.  Noble Visiting Nurse and Hospice Services has a physician who makes house calls and can work closely with the patient's primary physician in coordinating care.

What if I have a problem after hours?
Trained triage nurses are on call and can make home visits and/or contact physicians as needed, 24 hours a day seven days a week including holidays.

Is the provider licensed and accredited?
Some are not, which could result in sub-standard care from providers who don't undergo third-party evaluation or review.  Noble Visiting Nurse and Hospice Services is accredited by The Joint Commission (The Good Housekeeping seal of approval for homecare and hospice agencies) and licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.

Are the employees accredited healthcare professionals who have been background-checked?
The Noble Visiting Nurse and Hospice Services has a dedicated staff of professionals who are well-selected and well-trained to provide the highest level of compassionate care and all staff are accredited, licensed, CORI (criminal offender record information) background checked and bonded.
